I’ve installed the pre-release and have been searching for how to test the user roles but I don’t see any documentation or anything obvious in the dashboard. How do we test out those features?

Hi there,
You can use the new capabilities by installing a WordPress plugin that manages user role capabilities. We recommend either of the following for capability management:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/
Along with that, you’ll benefit from having the User switching plugin installed so you can quickly switch between accounts while testing:
