Hi there,
There is a message on the EE registration checkout page just before the payment options are selected, which says (in our case) “Pay by paypal or credit card” (see screenshot). I want to change this text.

Is this text something that I can easily edit, or it is something that my designer will have had inserted in (e.g.) a child theme or some other modification method?
The page in HTML on my site simply calls a function [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT]
I would like to change the text displayed to “Select your payment option”.

The default there should actually be “Please Select Your Method of Payment”, so it seems the text was already changed to “Pay by paypal or credit card”. So there may already be some custom code activated your site that’s made a change to that text. If you know where your modifications are located, then you or your designer will make that change there.

Any idea where I should look for the custom code? I can no longer get hold of my designer so I don’t know where he’s put the modifications.
It won’t be editing the plugin itself, since that gets updated, so the modifications will need to be elsewhere.
I know there is a site specific plugin but I can’t see that code there. I also know there is a child theme – might it be there? Any ideas where else I should look or how I can find it.
Is there an easy way to search the code of a site for a specific text string?

It’s OK – I found a plugin called String Locator and used it to search the site.
I found a custom modification to the child theme.
I think I should be able to edit this.
