Cool! But there’s nothing about this in the documentation about the ticketing addon. So where do I go to make this possible?
We run events where we take cash payment when attendant arrive and scan their ticket. We’d love to mark their ticket as paid in the same process as scanning, like I interpret the above quote, it should be possible.
In this case, I don’t think editing the QR code would be what you’re looking for. The QR code already stores payment info. So when you scan a ticket where someone hasn’t paid, it will notify you the payment is hasn’t been made, and you’ll have an option to check them in when you take cash payments.
We are working on adding more features for the ticketing check in with the new iPad app and the new API. You can test these out by downloading the new API from your account page (you’ll need to opt-in to the pre-release channel first, there’s a checkbox on your account page that will allow you to opt-in)
