Hi there,
I had to revert back to EE3 because it supports discount/coupon codes. The admin notification email isn’t coming out really nice, and it’s not showing “Pending Payment” like it used to in EE4. Is there anyway I can change the formatting, add fields like “ticket name” & “ticket price” and have it say “Pending Payment”?

Hi Lincoln,
The emails in Event Espresso 3 are plain-text based and do not have styling.
The following shortcodes are available for use in the email templates for Event Espresso 3:

Thanks for your response. That’s good to know. Where can we edit the admin notifications emails and add in the short codes? Thanks.

Hi Lincoln,
The Admin emails are not easily edited within EE3, to do so requires modifying a core file/function used to generate the emails.
You would need to modify event-espresso/includes/functions/email.php starting line 412
In the current release this function is not pluggable however it is in future versions, allowing you to override the default function with a custom version.
Within EE3 there is no ‘Pending Payment’ email as such. EE3 has a registration confirmation emails (which can show the registration status) and also a manual ‘Pyament Reminder’ email which contains a like to pay online and/or download an Invoice.
