How do I add an “Edit this event” link on the bottom of each event page?
When I am logged in, I would like to quickly be able to access the event editor without going back to the event overview list.

I don’t see the “edit event” link on the bottom of this page: http://108.167.183.248/~cooking/new/events/may-bbqpicnic-cooking-class/

Hi,

It’s theme based, so for example Divi doesn’t seem to have one, but Twentytwelve does.

If you need one in your theme the only way would be to manually modify the theme template (most likely single.php but it depends on how the theme is coded) and add it in directly.

thank you.
There is an edit link on single pages & posts, but not events. Do I edit the single event template file?

see screenshot.
Why can’t I edit the event from the top black menu bar, when I am logged into the website? Right now I am able to go to the list of Events or add a new event, but not able to edit the current event shown on the page. Is there a way from the admin bar to get to the current event & make changes?

Hi, we have an open feature request to add an edit event link to the admin toolbar which appears while you are logged into the site. I’ll add additional feedback there.

Thanks

Lorenzo
