Easiest way to reserve free tickets for an event

We have a number of events – boat rides – some rides we would like to reserve a few “free” spots for volunteers, special guests, etc.  How can we do this using the reservation system but not go through payment for these few tickets?

Figured this out with the Promo code of 100% discount.  Sorry to bother.
