E-mails not being sent to domain that Espresso is installed on.

Our “payment received” E-mails are not being sent to us when we use the e-mail that uses our domain name. However when I change the [SITE_ADMIN_EMAIL] to reflect a gmail account the e-mails come through.

Also when I sign up for a test event on our site and use the e-mail with our domain name I don’t get any confirmation e-mails but when signing up with my gmail account I do.

Hi Pam,

A transactional email delivery service like Postmark or Mandrill by MailChimp will solve this issue for you:

Mandrill has a free tier so I would give that a try.
