Does Event Espresso support dynamic ticket prices?
—
For example, consider a conference with two parts: A series of lectures during the day, and a networking party in the evening.
Let’s say it costs $200 to attend the whole event. Optionally, registrants who don’t wish to participate in everything can purchase tickets for just the lectures ($150) or just the networking party ($100).
Now, if these three options are the only choices, it’s clearly easy to set three distinct ticket types and just leave it at that.
But what if the prices are different for industry members versus the general public? So an industry member’s ticket options might be $200, $150 and $100, while the general public’s ticket options might be $300, $225 and $150 for the same whole event, lectures and party, respectively.
I don’t want to present registrants with a choice of SIX different ticket prices. I want them to indicate whether they’re an industry member or not and then base ticket prices on their response to that question.

If my organization decides to purchase Event Espresso, these sort of “if X then Y” pricing schemes will be common; thus support for dynamic pricing is crucial. (& lack thereof is a deal-breaker).
Hi, this type of pricing is not supported in Event Espresso at this time. Separate ticket options would need to be created for each type of attendee (e.g. industry members, general attendees).
Unfortunately, I do not at this time. This is unlikely to be available in the near future.
