Ok, I have fairly complex events that are all relatively similar, so I used the “duplicate” feature…
Little did I know: duplicating the events ALSO duplicates the Unique Event Identifier, so when I’m embedding events into a page using shortcode, they’re all the same event (due to having the same UEI).
If there is a way to easily change their identifier, let me know — in any case, this was a terrible usability decision (there may be an excuse for it, but a need? I couldn’t be sure).

Just a little bump — no one has any help for this? I really don’t want to have to make all of these events over again, if I knew where they were located in the database, I could change the UEI there.
I had a look into this and in the version of EE you are using and the latest EE, if you duplicate an event the Event ID, Event Code and Event Unique Identifier are all changed, so I am not sure how you have ended up with identical ones.
Here is a screen shot of a base event duplicated a few times with the duplicates being duplicated as well (EE ver 3.1.30.7) – http://d.pr/i/cjlt – as you can see everything is different.
Database wise, the events are held in *_events_detail table where * is your database prefix.
Thanks again for the response Dean, I appreciate it!
I was actually looking in the wrong database originally, which is why I didn’t find the right table.
I’ve found it now and changed those Unique Event IDs — all is well, thanks!
