I would like to allow a user to register onto an event once based on their email address.
You wrote about hook called AHEE__EE_Single_Page_Checkout__process_attendee_information__end
I am familiar with code and PHP Storm by example but where and how i supposed to add this? Please make for me some quick tutorial.

With regards to allowing a “one-time registration”, or in other words “preventing the same email address to be used again for another registration on the same event”, you’ll find some example code in this other topic:
