I want to have a duplicate promo code field on the registration form. In the Admin the promo codes can still be controlled all in one spot. I just need it something like this on the registration form where the promo code fields appear:
student promo code: [ ]
teacher promo code: [ ]
How can I do this?

Hi Eli,
Currently there is no option to have multiple promo code fields within the registration page.
The promo code used within the field applies to the current registration so using 2 would provide no benefit.

Tony,
We are using the Groupon Code as a duplicate “promo” code on our registration form. (we need 2 promo codes) Is there any way to define a discount amount for the groupon code (as in edit the code in a file to make this work) instead of it making the whole thing free? This would solve our problem.

The Social/Groupon Codes basically check if they are valid and then remove all costs from the Registration, the table storing those Groupon codes does not store values which can be used to apply.
This would require a significant amount of customisation and is not something we can provide through support.
I would recommend contact one of our recommended developers available here:

However, to note when using Promo codes the value of the promo code is applied to each ticket within the registration. So if your promo code offers $10 off, each of the tickets within the registration will have $10 removed from the price. Adding 2 promo codes (if Event Espresso was customised to allow this) would then apply both discounts to all tickets within that registration.
