I’m on EE4.8.13.p. This used to work fine, but now we are getting duplicate email being sent about 45 minutes after the first one. I have checked the status of the event registrations before and after the duplicate goes out and can not see any obvious differences – both Registrations and Transactions are in a completed state. I am concerned to identify the problem as sending out duplicate tickets may become an issue when they are used and it doesn’t look too professional either. |
Hi Richard, We’ve had a couple of reports of this and are working on a fix. It looks like the cron we setup to check if the user returned from an offsite payment method is triggering the registration approved messages. Which payment method are you using? |

Hello Richard, we are working on a solution for the multiple notifications. Here is a workaround which will prevent those multiple notifications: 1) Please deactivate your version of Event Espresso 4 through your WordPress plugins screen in your WP dashboard 2) Click on the following link which will download a prior version of Event Espresso 4 to your computer: https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/archive/4.8.9.p-sans-tests-tag.zip 3) Return to your WP Plugins screen and then upload and activate the version that you just downloaded We’ll update your support post as soon as we have verified a fix and then you’ll be able to update to the current release. Hi Richard, The fix for the multiple registration notification email is included in Event Espresso 4.8.15.p, which was released earlier today. |
