Duplicate Notifications for Admin and Registrant

We are using the latest version of EE4 and are experiencing an issue where the registrant and administrator are receiving a secondary duplicate emails a couple minutes after the first notifications. How can we resolve this? This is causing great frustration for our users and ourselfs

Hi Susan,

When you say a couple of minutes apart is it always roughly the same amount of time?

Does it happen for every payment made?

Which payment method are you using?

We are using PayPal standard, it happens for every registration.

Have you recently updated to the latest version of Event Espresso? (Currently 4.8.16.p)

We released a fix within 4.8.15.p that should prevent the duplicate emails from being sent when using offsite payment gateways (such as PayPal Standard)
