I am having too much trouble trying to get the calendar page to look somewhat normal. For some reason the month keeps showing up twice. I have reset the settings at least six times now and have completely given up. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. The link to the page is http://awaitingtablebeta.com/calendar-of-events/ There is only one short code on the page- [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=”month”]. I have also tried [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] to no avail. Help..great needed would be appreciated. |
Looks like you are getting a Javascript error, but I cannot tell from where. It looks like there are a ton of Javascripts loading on your website that may be conflicting with the calendar or any number of other plugins and scripts. I would try deactivating all of the other plugins you have installed and see if that fixes the problem. IF so reactivate them one-by-one until you find the conflicting plugin. |

Yes, I had deactivated both Next Gen Gallery as well as Contact Form 7. And it still seems to not work. (I have over 1000 photos in Next Gen, so I can’t really kill that plugin…will this plugin be more friendly with it soon I hope?) In the meantime, I am still trying to get rid of the top calendar to no avail. Is there something in the coding that I can just comment out so just the bottom one appears? Thanks! |
What other plugins are activated? Have you tried temporarily switching to the Twenty Eleven theme? |

I have the same problem here. I had turned off all plugins except the EE ones. Could this Javascript issue also be why I can’t upload images anymore? If its my theme, will my theme editor know what to do to make it compatible again with EE? Are there common errors for this sort of thing? Thanks! |

The key is to use WordPress coding standards so things do not conflict. Try the theme test drive plugin and test one of the plugins available from wordpress.org/extend/themes. These have all been verified as high quality coded themes. The theme check plugin can be installed to inspect the current theme and should point to common errors. |

@silvestro & mpurse If you are seeing two calendars on your calendar page AND you have the calendar widget enabled, you NEED to enter the id or page slug of the calendar page in the Calendar Page box in the widget’s settings: |

Hi Chris, http://awaitingtablebeta.com/2012-calendar/calendar-of-events/ |
@Silvestro we just released an updated version of the calendar today. I logged into your account and updated it and now it seems to be working. |

The calendar update sorted it all out for me, thanks. |
