Hello, I was wondering if there is any development about the bugs I had reported last August about the duplicate event feature. https://eventespresso.com/topic/duplicate-event-bugs/ Specifically: when an event is duplicated. As we have almost 150 events per year, and most of them are basically the same event in a different dates, it is very important for us to have this feature working properly. Thanks in advance, |
Hi Oguzhan, No updates. Although you might consider changing the defaults for the message templates. If you have a go-to message template that you routinely use, you copy that template’s content into the default message template. Then when you go to duplicate an event, the default will load and that will be the template you’ll want to use. |

hi there, The defaults are already customized for my events for english courses. I need the custom templates for the courses in french – which is ~50% of the courses. |
You’ll need to set those emails options to use the custom templates then. |

yes exactly, this is what I do for the french events. My problem is that when I duplicate the event, the email options reset to default templates… |
I get that, as I mentioned before the duplicate event feature doesn’t duplicate the email options from one event to another. There’s an open ticket to change this and we can let you know when it’s ready. |

Update: Event Espresso 4.9.45 includes a fix for the featured image, tags, selected email templates, and page template selection not getting copied over when an event is duplicated. Event Espresso 4.9.45 is released and is available as a 1-click update from your WP Dashboard’s Plugins page. You can trigger an update notice (if you don’t see one yet) by going to the Event Espresso > General Settings page then click on Save. |
