Duplicate email confirmation to our company has randomly changed

I had been getting notification of registration s till about 4 days ago. I went into sytem tonight and noticed my email was changed from K**Bradley**@Yahoo to K**Bradley**@gmail(not ecxact email for privacy). I can not seem to find where to correct this, not stumped how it was changed since I do not own the gmail email.

Hi there,

The email address can be pulled from a few places depending on how you have the message templates set up.

The ‘notification of registrations’ email would usually be the ‘Registration Approved’ message type. So first, go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates (assuming you are using the defaults and not custom templates) -> Registration Approved -> Edit Event Admin.

What does it have in the ‘To’ field there? By default, it would now be [CO_EMAIL] and that pulls the email from Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Your Organization -> Primary Contact Email.

But if you have a different shortcode in use in the above field it will use the value for that, or even hardcoded if you have done so.

Side note, EE doesn’t have any code to change email address within the DB and we don’t have any code targeting ‘yahoo’ at all so I don’t think EE itself changed this. It is possible for another plugin to hook into wp_mail after we have and alter the values EE sent over, do you have any other email related plugins installed on the site?

ok I have done this and the correct **@yahoo.com was in the field (we use the default messages. What is odd is up to 3/31 in the message history it was going to my Yahoo, then it changes to gmail after that. I thought it odd since we are offering free classes (we deliver babies) because of COVID-19, and have been filling up our classes. SO I went into the website and found 10 registrations. I went in last night under general settings- the email field was blank, so I retyped our email and saved. I then registered for a class at 11pmEST and STILL have no registration confirmation as a participant ( I did used different email to try to rule out if it is an email issue in general – NO confirm as of yet. This morning I had a friend reg. and same issue as well they have yet to receive and email confirmation.

I am not a coder, small business owner, so I have no idea what else to do, please help!!
