Duplicate Confirmation emails

Hello

We are using EE3.1.37.18.P with wordpress 5.7.3. We are finding that our site users registering for events are receiving duplicate confirmation emails. This does not happen every time, but probably about 40-50% of registrations. We are using postmark to deliver the emails. We have cheked with postmark who say they are mot duplicating the emails. Hoping you can help.

Hi Joe,

Which payment method are you using here?

If you create a new test event with a free ticket and register onto that event does it also happen with that ticket? (If you post a link to that event I’ll happily run a few test registrations and see if I get duplicates)

Unfortunately, that page just shows ‘No events available…’ for me?

Oh, sorry Tony, that is strange in itself – it comes up for us here. I have adjusted the start date for the registrations to an earlier day. I hope it is now visible?

It does show for me now, looks like that page is cached so I likely saw a cached version.

I’m getting duplicate emails when registering onto that event.

If you install a plugin like WP Mail logging:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/

Let me know and I’ll run another test on that event and see if you can see the duplicates there.

(This is trying to figure out if the duplicates are coming from the site itself or after the email has been sent to postmark, I know they said they are not duplicating the emails but still need to confirm)
