Downloading Registrations

This is still a bit painful and often ‘hangs’ before it completely downloads. I’ve just upgraded EE4 to latest version.

Ideally, I would like to be able to download registrations by month. But until then have to download nearly 6,000 registrations and growing in order to run a report. Which is making this somewhat problematic, especially when it hangs.

Hello,

It isn’t instantaneous as it is retrieving that information in real-time from your database and in smaller batches rather than all at once which will timeout. That includes the registrant/attendee information, custom questions, transaction information, etc.

If you are using the all registrations csv report option, then try using the event-level one by going to Event Espresso –> Events. Then hover over the name of an event an click on Registrations. From here, scroll down to the end of the page and then click on the Registrations CSV report button.

I can do that, but we have over 20 events per month. I really am just after basic monthly sales figures. ๐Ÿ™

You can go to Event Espresso > Transactions > Reports and it will show you the sales figures over the past 30 days.

Along with that, we have an open ticket to make it so that the Registrations CSV will use the Event list table filters. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to set the filters to view all events for a specific month, then click a button that says “Generate report” and it will generate a report based on the current filtered view.

We’ll update this thread once this work is finished and released.

1. That’s great if I do it on the last day of each month. But I am trying to (for example) look at April and June sales.

I tried filtering but it doesn’t provide a total of the transactions and there is no way to download them – I have 37 pages of transactions just for May alone. ๐Ÿ™

2. That would be awesome. Much more useful!

Thanks.

Hi there,

I wanted to let you know that a new “Filtered CSV Report” button was added to Event Espresso version 4.9.24.p. This new button will start a report that uses the filters on the admin registration list table. You can use this new feature to do a filtered report such as registrations for a specific month.

It works a treat. Thanks!
