September 20, 2024 at 11:27 am Have been getting these warnings since the Download Monitor upgraded to 5.X. PHP message: PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “post_type” on null in /www/xxx/public/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/src/Admin/WritePanels.php on line 45″ while reading upstream, client: xx.xx.xx.xx, server: xxx.org, request: “GET /wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_promotions&action=edit&PRO_ID=93&edit_nonce=e10755d049&return=default HTTP/2.0”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php8.1-fpm-xxx.sock:”, host: “xxx.org:40739”, referrer: “https://xxx.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_promotions&action=default&default_nonce=568eb2bb41&return=insert_promotion&_wpnonce=568eb2bb41 PHP message: PHP Warning: Attempt to read property “display_name” on bool in /www/xxx/public/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/admin_pages/events/Events_Admin_List_Table.class.php on line 377″ while reading upstream, client: xx.xx.xx.xx, server: xxx.org, request: “GET /wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_events HTTP/2.0”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php8.1-fpm-xxx.sock:”, host: “xxx.org:40739”, referrer: “https://xxx.org/wp-admin/” If the Download Monitor plugin is disabled, warnings stop. Suggestions on how to fix? |

Hi there,
Looks like the authors of Download Monitor have already fixed this in 5.0.10 of Download Monitor.
That only happens with Download Monitor active? The line numbers don’t match our latest version, looks like your using 5.0.23.p here. Those line number match up with trying to display the details for the event Author so I’m guessing you have an event set to a user account that has since been deleted? I suspect this one is unrelated to Download Monitor. |
|
Where did you find Download Monitor 5.0.10? Running version 5.0.9 and do not an update available. |
|
It’s not available yet, it’s the next update due out for the plugin and will include a fix for the above. |
|
Thanks… I’ll let you know if the warning disappears once the update is available. |
|
Which one?
This one is not actually related to Event Espresso as such, it’s thrown from Download Monitor hooking in on EE’s admin pages and its not something we can fix within EE itself. However, the update should indeed fix it.
This one I don’t think is related to Download Monitor. Check each of the events loading on the list table and confirm the Event Author is set correctly to an existing user. |

September 26, 2024 at 12:21 pm Both errors appear to be gone after upgrading to Download Monitor 5.0.12. Thank you. |

Awesome! Thanks for letting us know and I’m glad the update worked 🙂 |
