Doubled System Questions

All of the locked/”System Questions” in the ‘Question’ and ‘Question Group’ menus exist twice. I’d like to remove the duplicates, but they’re all locked.

How should I go about removing these duplicate “System” questions?

example:

  • First Name
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Last Name
  • Address
  • Address
  • Phone
  • Phone
  • State
  • State

…etc.

Hi Brian,

Did this just occur due to an update? Do you have other staff members who create questions or events?

Hi. I did recently update from an older version of Event Espresso Lite to the current version of the “Paid” release.

If the fix involves database manipulation, I am comfortable with that.

Hi Brian,

I’m still looking into this and I want to speak to one of the developers on the matter, can you advise which version of the lite you upgraded from.

Brian,

The duplicated questions will need to be deleted from the database. Do you have access and a little experience with PHPMyAdmin? If so, you can either delete the questions from the database or delete the questions table, then deactivate and reactivate the plugin. That will reinstall the table and questions. Today is probably the easiest method.
