I want people to register for two different workshops. When a user adds them to the cart they have to enter registration information twice, once for each workshop. There’s an Event Espresso Registration Form setting that says ” Allow copy #1 attendee info to extra attendees?” which isn’t even exactly what I want because these aren’t exactly extra attendees. Is there another work-around?

If someone is registering for two different workshops with two different tickets, Event Espresso doesn’t know if the tickets are for the same person or different people. Thus, it presents the registration form twice, assuming that if you need to fill out the form for two different people then you need to have the option to answer the questions twice. And that option to copy #1 Attendee’s info is a shortcut for people if the are registering themselves for both tickets.
In the case that you never expect someone to register two different people, then you can uncheck the option in the event editor to ask questions of the additional attendees. If none of the question groups are checked, then the system will assume one person with multiple tickets and only present the registration form once.

Since 1 registration per ticket, this option is enabled by default. As users have the option to just copy same person information for other ticket. But you can also disable that option by doing it here.

Yes, I see that option, but it doesn’t work as intended. I’ve tried checking and unchecking/ the box on the page you sent, but it doesn’t allow someone to copy and paste their registration info into the second registration info slot. They still have to onerous type in all the same information again. Is there any way to make that option work?

Just saw Garth’s response- I will make sure none of the question groups are checked, and see if that makes a different.
