Double invoicing, multi-workshop-organizer login and standard featureset EE

Goodday,

I am designing and building a WordPress-based website that will host a network of workshop organizers (40-50 individual organizers). The main feature on this website will be to centrally display all kinds of workshops, and for customers to be able to book and pay for one (or more) of those workshops. The requirements in bullets:

  • hosting 40-50 workshop organizers, their profiles and workshop summaries
  • presenting the workshops both in calendar and list (per category or per venue-location) format.
  • offering booking (and registration) and direct payment options to customers (only for The Netherlands: iDeal and credit card connections)
  • invoicing to the customer (“CC” of invoice to workshop organizer)
  • Member-ship vs non-membership pricing differentiation (future requirement)
  • Reporting on who has booked what workshop, overview of best-booked-workshops, payment overview

Off-course I have read as much as possible on your website about standard-features and add-on features of the event espresso event manager plug-in. It looks very promising but I would like to have some confirmation before buying the right option:

  1. When I purchase your personal license, can I meet above mentioned requirements?
  2. Is it possible to buy separate add-ons to the standard premium feature set?
  3. If future requirements do come forward: can I easily (cost-effectively) upgrade to the business (or maybe even developer) license?

Hello Keimpe,

When I purchase your personal license, can I meet above mentioned
requirements?

You can meet most of your requirements with the personal licence, with the exception of the membership prices, you would need to purchase a Business licence or the WP User Integration add on separately.

We don’t currently have a way to CC the invoice to anybody, but admin notifications can be sent to both the admin and someone else, by using an option in the individual events.

Dutch payment gateways, to my knowledge the only Dutch based one is iDEAL by Mollie, though the standard international ones (PayPal etc) are available as well.

Is it possible to buy separate add-ons to the standard premium feature
set?

Yes it is, all the add ons can be purchased individually when you have the Personal or Business licence (Developer licence has all of them currently). The business licence is the most cost effective bundle.

Re-reading your question, I am now wondering whether you mean custom built addons? We can do that but we would expect the development costs to be sponsored and currently we are not taking on custom work in a bid to get the next milestone version finished.

Yes absolutely. We do not offer discounts on upgrades but we do extend your licence period by 12 months (e.g. if your are 6 months in and upgrade, your licence will be valid for the next 18 months). And of course you can purchase add ons individually as well. My advise would be to forward think, if you think you need the features of the Business licence in the next 3-6 months, it may be worth buying it to begin with.
