I have just encountered two people registering for the same event. Both people probably were filling out the questions for the event at the same time and so it didn’t show as sold out. Is there a way to prevent this? 4 tickets were “sold” even though there is a limit of 2. When two people are filling out the registration form and the second clicks to confirm their order can I make a custom message that says, “This event has recently sold out.”
How are you today? Race conditions like this can only be solved by manually approving each registration or by building in additional checks for completed registrations along the checkout process. So, right now there is not a easy way to do this without developers getting involved. We do anticipate building a Race Conditions type add-on that will help manage these situations, but it will be somewhat involved because there is a lot to consider and we can elaborate if you want.
