It has happened the second time now that a customer was able to book a seat that had already been reserved.
In the database both attendees could be found in wp_events_attendee including the correct entry in the price_option field (e.g. N-13 | Booking ID:4294) and both with payment_status Completed. However, the according entry in wp_events_seating_chart_event_seat is missing for the first reservation. So either the entry was never made or it has been deleted later for no apparent reason.
I can’t see any errors on your site which is good.
I ran some tests locally and have been unable to recreate this issue.
Do you know if there was any similarity between the attendees (logged in/out, names, emails etc)? Also was there any changes or edits made to the first attendee (the one whose database entry was missing)?
I’ve done some further testing and I am still unable to replicate this issue. A colleague said that he managed to make it happen when using Google Chrome’s Translate feature, but this could not be reproduced.
It looks like there have been some modifications to the template and possible other files. It could well be an issue with the modified code causing an intermittent problem. You could try reverting any modifications and test further.
Other than that, I am at a loss. We haven’t come across this issue in testing and there are no recent forum queries about it barring yours. This leads me to believe it is certainly specific to your site, which is why I recommended to revert to defaults.
