Hi Rose,

It looks like the <code> and <pre> tags got copied into the page editor. You can remove those if you switch to html/text mode. If you’re not sure how to switch to html/text mode, please see Jonathan’s screenshot here:

Hi Rose,

We are here to help.

Have you tried removing the <code> and <pre> tags from the page editor in Text/HTML mode?

Can you post a screenshot of what you’re seeing when you edit the previous events page?

The EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY shortcode does not allow you to show events that have since closed.

Try this shortcode instead

[EVENT_LIST show_expired=true category_identifier=your_category_identifier]

You need to replace your_category_identifier with the actual identifier, you can find that in the category page.

Hello,

VIP members get faster response time,s and more additional benefits will be coming. However, most of the support is still given via the support forum. Whilst on occasion we will log into a users site in order to test something first hand.

If you are just wanting us to add content in for you, we would need you to purchase a Priority Support token.

Note that a Priority Support token is not required to receive support, but in order for us to go above and beyond standard support it is required.

In regards to:

We cannot access previews or posts or pages, can you publish it and provide the correct link please?

Hello,

As per Josh’s post earlier in this thread (from yesterday 27th Mar 2013) you need to go to the TEXT tab in the editor and remove some of the <pre> <code><br> and empty <p> tags there as that is what is causing the blank space.

It looks like the <code> and <pre> tags got copied into the page editor. You can remove those if you switch to html/text mode. If you’re not sure how to switch to html/text mode, please see Jonathan’s screenshot here:

Just for your information was not that, this was a problem
Manage Event Categories
Display category description on event listings page?
I had check mark as yes
but should be no,
that was my experience
any way thank you for your help and support
