Hey,
I was wondering if it makes sense to purchase the newer Event Espresso 4 for my client who is holding classes for his hair school?
He won’t be having TONS of events, but enough to need something to manage it all in! Probably around a few longer events a year. (maybe every other month or so)
Could I get all the functionality I need now with event espresso 4?
We mainly need:
-a way for users to register
-email notifications
-a way to manage events that are over the course of a few days (ex. 24th-30th)
-paypal payments
-a way for users to check in with the front desk
-a way to send updates to users say if something changes or if we are holding another event they would be interested in.
These are the main concerns at the moment!

Yes, these options are available in Event Espresso 4. Batch notifications (your last feature) is currently being tested internally and will be available in an upcoming release of EE4.

Is there a estimated time of release for the update for EE4?
(we decided to go ahead and buy EE4 after some tests on the demo site, but knowing a round about time when it’ll be fully ready would be awesome)
By the way, that demo site is really awesome! Good work to all the devs on that one! 😀 It made a HUGE difference in my decision!

We do not provide time estimates but I can say that it is being tested internally. Batch notifications will be part of EE 4.3.
