Hey guys,

My client asked us to use Espresso events for her gym. We have a few questions regarding specific features that we need:

– Does Eventespresso support user front-end registration, instead of using the wp-register dialog? If not, can we use the Profile Builder Pro plugin together with Eventespresso?
– Does Eventespress support frontend user profile editing, instead of having them login into the WP environment? If not, can we use the Profile Builder Pro plugin together with Eventespresso?
– Is it possible to register and have different types of subscriptions? So if i’m a pro i pay $100 per year if i’m an amateur i pay $20. Based on the type of subscription i can register for certain classes for free (pro) or pay an adjusted amount when i’m an amateur.

Looking forward to hearing your response!
Best, Memento

Hi Memento, here is feedback on your questions:

I am not familiar with the Profile Builder Pro plugin. Event Espresso 3 has a WP User Integration option that will let registrants pre-fill their contact information such as their name, email, and address on future registrations:

Editing the user profile information would need to be done via the WP dashboard –> Users –> Profile. It sounds like you need to keep all registrants out of the WP dashboard.

Currently, there isn’t a discounts system by type of user. The WP User Integration will allow two types of pricing: members and non-members.

We do have a free version of Event Espresso 3 if you would like to give that a try with Profile Builder Pro:

Thanks

Lorenzo
