Hi.
I created an initial category and manually created the identifier e.g. category training, id train
Using some short codes (e.g. TABLE_DISPLAY) I can’t get EE to list events with that (manual) id, do I have to recreate categories as per this thread?

Hi Nick,
The other topic you linked to was about the [EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY] shortcode, and I believe that issue was fixed around Event Espresso 3.1.25.P.
Can you post the exact shortcode that you’re using so I can check to see if the paramaters are correct?

Hi Josh.
Yes – is the same issue though, the short code is [ESPRESSO_TABLE max_days=”120″ qty=”12″ category_identifier=”stafford-1358806514″] which works now that I recreated the category and allowed the system to generate the Unique Category Identifier whereas originally I had created this manually for shorter category id, in this example, simply “stb”. If you do this then the issue described does not work with ESPRESSO_TABLE

I’ll try to reproduce this on my test install. If I can reproduce it, I will create a ticket so one of the developers can fix it.

Hi Nick,
I tried following your steps to reproduce this exactly by creating a new category, assigning it the ID of stb, I assigned an event to this category, then created a page with:
[ESPRESSO_TABLE max_days=”120″ qty=”12″ category_identifier=”stb”]
And the event displayed as expected. What may have happened earlier when you tried this was the category ID did not get saved in the database, but I’ll keep investigating and let you know if I find anything else.
