Documentation availability, and add an event that does not require registration?

Is it possible to add an event to the calendar that does not require registration? There doesn’t seem to be any way to set an event as anything other than “Closed” unless you give it a range of dates for registering.

Apologies if this is covered in the documentation. I have inherited a site using the Event Espresso plugin and do not have the account information that would allow me to access the documentation. Is there any way for me to get a hold of the documentation? It seems odd that this would be hidden. Aren’t there people who would want to read the docs before purchasing the product?

Hello David,

Our premium support is limited to people with a licence for the plugin which can be purchased here.

Our documentation is available here.

If you are wishing to use Event Espresso I would advise you to seriously consider purchasing a licence, as we are continually updating the plugin and add ons to add new features.
