Hi guys. Really, REALLY impressed with the product, but just had a few questions before I purchase. Apologies if these are dumb questions!

1) Is it possible to upload documents (or audio files) before/after the event (e.g. slides, or recordings) to the page?
2) Will users be able to have their own page to see what events they have registered for (upcoming and past) and potentially view in calendar format
3) Can people see which of their facebook friends are attending on an events page?
4) Can any registered user post events, then, as admin, edit their own event pages (a la facebook). Then I, as ‘super’ admin can also have edit rights over all events.

Thanks very much!

Hi,

Thanks for your kind words and interest in Event Espresso.

1) Is it possible to upload documents (or audio files) before/after the event (e.g. slides, or recordings) to the page?

Not currently.

2) Will users be able to have their own page to see what events they have registered for (upcoming and past) and potentially view in calendar format

EE3 has this feature via the My Events shortcode or their My Events in the profile: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#my-events

EE4 does not yet have this features as there is no formal WP User integration release for it.

3) Can people see which of their facebook friends are attending on an events page?

We don’t have a Facebook integration at this time. It is something we have been thinking about for a while, but with the introduction of EE4 all things like this have been put on pause.

4) Can any registered user post events, then, as admin, edit their own event pages (a la facebook). Then I, as ‘super’ admin can also have edit rights over all events.

In EE3 this can be done via the Roles & Permissions (RP) Basic and Pro addons.

These addons allow users access to different parts of Event Espresso. There is also a Front End Manager that allows basic events to be submitted.

https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-basic/
https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-pro/

EE4 does not have these. As of EE 4.5.0 there will be more opportunities for allowing different roles to access different sections of EE, but these will need to be developed.
