Do I need to uninstall (or install) event espresso decaf when I install the paid version? I have tested with the decaf version so it is currently installed (deactivated) but just want to know if I should delete it or not?

You can delete decaf when you install the paid version. Or, if you’ve input the support license key onto the Event Espresso > General Settings page, you can do the 1-click update which will also remove the decaf version.

thx Josh – I have had a look, but where do I find the 1-click update on that page? Do you just mean the standard update button and it will remove the Event Expresso Decaf?
My license key is there, and I have hit the standard update button, but it doesn’t remove the event espresso decaf!…?

If you currently have EE4 Regular and EE4 Decaf installed on the site, its not going to delete Decaf.

If you are using EE4 Decaf right now and have a key set within Decaf, it should show you an update (yes the 1-click updates are through the standard routes which EE hooks into), when you run the update it will replace the version of EE4 Decaf you have active at the time with the regular version.

Looking at your site its running the regular version of EE, so you’re not going to get the update from Decaf to Regular (which replaces decaf with regular) as your already running the regular version (shown with a .p next to the version number). If you already have EE4 Regular installed (and active), just delete Decaf manually.

None of your event data will be lost, its all in the database and EE4 Regular uses those same tables.
