Hi,
Is there a simple way of displaying the days of the weeks on events with different datetimes
e.g.

Hi Phil,
EE uses the date format set within your sites general settings to output dates, so you can change this within:
Dashboard -> Settings -> General -> Date format.
Looks like your currently using F j, Y (default)
You can switch to custom and add an l (lower case L) to the beginning like this – http://take.ms/FdDkm
Save the settings and refresh the page, you’ll find the Day of the week is now shown… however, that format applies all over your site. Anywhere that outputs date will now likely use that format.
If that’s not something you want we have a filter you can use to change the format used only on that date list. Here is an example of a function you can use to change the format:

You can add that to your themes functions.php file (preferably a child theme) or a Custom Functions Plugin
