Displaying 1 specific event

Hi.
I would like to use shortcode to display one specific event in a row location on my website. I am trying to use the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS id=1028] shortcode, but that displays all the events. I would like to avoid creating a custom category for this event and using a category_slug work-around. Is there a functional event_id= or id= shortcode parameter to display one event?

Hello,

That parameter (id=numeric_id) isn’t available for the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode so that is why is isn’t working.

You could use the ticket selector shortcode:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-shortcodes-template-variables/#ticket-selector

And then copy over the event description and other information.
