Displayed Expired Events not working

Hi there
Our site is : http://efac.com.au/
Our events are displayed in two places
http://efac.com.au/schedule/
http://efac.com.au/workshops/
We have Display Expired Events set to “yes” but as soon as an event is past it drops off all displays. This event from March 17 is no longer visible: http://efac.com.au/events/are-the-kids-ok-assessing-risk-while-supporting-families/
As these events double up as displaying the courses we run as well as upcoming dates we need them to be displayed regardless of whether they are expired unless deleted from the backend.
Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.
