Hi
Is it possible to display the category description on the category page?
I was able to create a category page with the following shortcode:
[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=coole-cookies]
However this doesnt show the event description.
Is it only in the backend for the admin or is there a shortcode for it?

Hi there,
Which is it that you want to display there? Is it the category description, or is it the event description?
If it’s the event description that you want to display, you go to Event Espresso > Events > Templates and set Display Description to Full Description.
If it’s the category description you want to display, you can either add the category description to the page before the short code, or you your WordPress theme may already include some code in its archive template that will automatically display the category description.
For example, if you go to yoursite.net/event-category/coole-cookies, does it display the category description there?
