Display 'Attended' figures for previous event

How do I display the number of attendees that attended a previus event on a webpage?

That is all attendees that showed up to the event and had their tickets scanned or reg ID inputted. Not those that did not show. Example 3039 attendees but only 1804 actually attended the event.

Finally, this information does not display in teh event overview. What is the quickest way to find out who attended? Not easy using exported XL spreadsheet with over 3000 attendees.

Hi,

Honestly no, there is no simpler way than via the spreadsheet at this time.

We are considering developing more reporting tools for Event Espresso, and I will certainly add this to the list of things to include.

Thanks for the reply.

That would be great as it is the only report we really need to know :)Any chance we could be informed when it is actioned?

Congrats on the latest fix that reduced the number of attendee queries on refresh btw. A godsend when trying to insert unscannable tickets with over 3000 visitors!

Cheers.

Hey Paul,

Keep an eye on the updates and changelog to see what comes out, and we sometimes blog about it as well. I would say it probably wont happen until after 3.2 is released though, as it has only been a recent discussion so very much early stage and we really want to get 3.2 out and stable.

We got mixed responses on the attendee and event query change, but for people like yourself with large numbers of attendees/events we knew it would be beneficial, so you’re welcome and thanks!

It was an issue with our event in January for the first time so a real relief to see it the other day 🙂

One other quick question, EE seems to slow our whole site down somewhat, have you had any dealings with a plugin called ‘W3 Total Cache’?

Thanks again.

Hi Paul,

Event Espresso shouldn’t slowing your site down. If you use W3 Total Cache, be sure that you don’t cache any of the Event Espresso pages that are public. This could cause issues with registrations getting saved to the database correctly.
