Discrepancies in ticket pricing

We have had (2) discrepancies with ticket pricing on our live Event page.  No other issues have been reported.

We are offering a package of 5-tickets available for purchase at a discounted price of $300, and on 4/29, someone purchased a 5-ticket deal, but the price came up at $315.  The person was charged $315.

The other discrepancy was that one person purchased the 5-ticket deal on 4/15, and was only charged $60 via WePay, but the Event Espresso invoice shows that the price purchased was $300.

What could be the issue?  Again – no other issues except for these two have been reported, and they have sold over 600 tickets so far.

Hi Amelia,

I think I understand at least one of these issues.

The person that was charged $315. I have managed to recreate this, not 100% I got a cart total of $312. It is to do with the editing of the cart contents and volume discounts. I will raise an urgent developer ticket to look into this!

Regarding the 5 tickets for $60, I am stumped. I cannot recreate this at all, even using the above system to force an additional discount, it wouldn’t go beyond $312.

Is there any other information you can provide regarding that purchase?

Since you investigated our issue, we’ve stopped receiving any EE emails with raffle purchases, which makes me concerned that clients have stopped receiving them as well. Is there any way for you to check if this function has been turned off or something?

Hello Amelia,

The email function would not have been turned off as a result of my investigations, in fact they dont ever get turned off as such. The only settings for the emails will delay the emails until payment received or not, but never turn them off.

Have you checked your spam folders? Have you tried setting up a test event to see if emails are still being received by attendees?
