Howdy,
I need to set up discount vouchers that expire on a certain date and/or can only be used once.
I know you have the social coupon add-on and I am already using promotional codes, but my requirement is something in between.
Is this something that will likely be addressed when 3.2 is launched? I know several other people are also looking for this feature.

Hi,
Right now there isn’t anything that can do that, and I understand fully that it would be great to have that feature.
When 4.0 (we renamed 3.2) is launched it is doubtful it will have that functionality. I know that the promo codes are still being worked on for that version so it may be something available in the future but I cannot give a definite answer.

That’s a shame as reading through the forum, it seems like a popular feature
Does the renaming of 3.2 to 4.0 signify that the launch is still some way off? We signed up to EE a year ago based on the launch of 3.2!

It is a popular feature request and not one that will go away, and I am hopeful that the whole promotional codes will be revisited and udated in due course.

Absolutely not no, if anything it means it is closer. We are putting as much of our time and resources as we can into 4.0 (as well as making sure the current version runs as smoothly as possible) and we are committed to getting the first version of 4.0 out with the next 6 weeks or so.
