Hello,
I am trying to get a discount code to work for certain people to register at an earlier published price (ie get a discount). When I try to do it myself it says “Sorry, promotional code EARLY is either invalid, expired, or can not be used for the event(s) you are applying it to.”
I read this on another thread but there was no solution as to how to fix it. I tried ‘checking’ the boxes next to them but there is no button to save that action.
Our website is: http://www.dirtydogrun.com/register/ and the discount code trying to be applied are “EARLY” (I just created this) and “IND_EARLY” (created earlier).

Hi Brittany,
After you check the boxes next to the Promo codes to activate them for the event, you can scroll up and click the Update Event button to save the changes.

Hi Josh,
Thank you–I was on the wrong screen. I also read another forum describing the difference in admin status–if I change to “Master Admin” will I be able to use any and all promotional codes? Thanks.

Hi Brittany,
It sounds like the Roles and Permissions add-on is activated. If that’s the case you can deactivate the Roles and Permissions add-on so you’ll be able to use any and all promotional codes.
