I just tried to enable a discount code –
set the Allow discount codes? to YES
and checked the appropriate code for the event…saved the event.
But, I don’t see the field to enter the code on any form?! HELP!
Should it appear on the registration form or on the Payment form? Either way – I don’t see it. This is a multiple event registration – and I read that it is disabled by default – but never read how to enable it….is that the issue?

Discount codes are disabled for Multi Event Registration because they allow any discount to be used and affect the overall total rather than the specific event the discount code is activated on. This is a known issue in the current version of Multi Event Registration but because it would involve a significant amount of development to fix — and because Multi Event Registration is being completely rewritten from scratch for 3.2 — we’ve commented out the discount code section on that template. If you would like to enable discount codes — despite the issues I’ve mentioned — you can do so by uncommenting lines 94 – 99 in shopping_cart.php.
