Disable link to event

I have some events that are for members only. I would like to create an event list on my home page to show off what’s happening, BUT I don’t want the user to be able to click through to the actual event details. Is there an easy way to disable the title link?

Hi there,

Not by default no, you would need your own event list and some way within the event itself to reference if it should use the link (likely a custom filed), however, that wouldn’t stop users from guessing the event slug as it’s not hard to do so.

What you could do is use something like Restrict Content to limit access to the event based on the current user, assuming ‘members’ are logged into the site?
