Hi guys,
I would have thought this would be an included feature…but my forum searches show that as of July 2016 EE does have a function to require a unique email address is entered for each attendee.
is this still the case? can you advise on how i would go about adding a simple check & message?

Hi Sam,
This is actually still the case, Event Espresso doesn’t have a built-in function that requires a unique email address for each attendee. Many users prefer to not require a unique email address for additional attendees.
There are ways to add extra custom validation to the registration form page. Here’s a script that shows one way to check for unique email addresses:

You can add the above to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file.
