Different registration pages for different events

We have a few different types of events, for which we’d like to use different registration pages to align the header image, sidebar, etc. with the event type. We don’t need users to be able to register for multiple events, we just want the display to be different based on the event they choose. I’ve figured out how to link an event to a new registration page, but I can’t figure out how to make that page (along with the original) have the registration/payments form.

Hi Matt,

If the number of events you have is small, I would use the SINGLE_EVENT shortcode (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/) and paste it into a page and then using the theme options change the page template.

Some themes offer more flexible options for both posts and pages, so depending on your theme you could also add the shortcode to a post.

If it is a large number of events then it would get more complex or more labour intensive.

At that point some customisation may be required.

Going forward, in version 4 we are looking to change the events to a true custom post type, making things like this a little easier.

Ah yep. That totally works for us. Thanks!
