Different numbers in event backend view

Hi,
I get a little confused due to different numbers at the backend view of an event.
On the event site in the WP backend I see three different numbers, which in my opinion, should be the same…
I added a screenshot in my Dropbox.
There you can see at No 1: Approved reg. 100
No 2: sold total tickets 95
No 3: sold different tickets 85 + 7

Shouldn’t be No 1 = No 2 = No 3?

Or where is my mistake in thinking?
When I open the list of attendees by clicking the link under the event, I see the 100 (approved reg) items.

Hi there,

Generally speaking those should add up to be the same but technically the counts are for three different types of data from the database.

The first count (100) is the number of approved registrations total for the event. The second count (95) is the number of approved registrations for a specific Datetime. The third group (under Tickets, 85 + 7 = 92) counts the number of sold tickets for that event.

Hi Josh,
thanks for the quick reply.
But what is the reason that the numbers differ in that case?
And how many attendees do I have for that event?
The 100 approved regs, the 95 sold tickets for the datetime or the 92 sold tickets as a sum of the two ticket types?

The answer is 100. The other two counts are not complete.
