Hello,

From reading other posts I see that I can have a free license key reset when migrating from a development server to a production server. Is this true? If so, please help!

My development domain: dev.templedavid.org
Production domain: templedavid.org

Thanks!

Yes. I’ve reset your key. Let me know if I can do anything else for you.

Yes, this it’s a true. However, it doesn’t look like your key had been added to a site yet.

Hello,

It seems that even though I have the license added to Event Espresso ->General Settings, I am still getting a message in my WordPress admin saying that I need to enter it. See attached screenshot.

enter image description here

Is there an issue with my license key? I’m pulling it from my account and the domain is shown as the correct one.

Thanks!

Did you remove the license key from the dev site?

The dev site is completely gone – database, sub-domain and files. I didn’t remove the key before removing it from my hosting.

In this case, you can remove the key from the live site then save the options page. After that you could check your account page on this site and verify that the site is not listed there. Once verified, then add it again to the live site and be sure to save the options page.

Hey Josh,

I’ve removed the key from the website and saved the options page. When I check my EE account page, it still shows the website templedavid.org for my license.

We will need WordPress admin creds in order to investigate further.

Please send WordPress admin level log in credentials via the contact form on this page: https://eventespresso.com/contact/

Select the “I am sending login info as requested” department form.

Problem solved. I reset the key again and resaved your General Settings so it would resend that information back to us with an empty license key. I then readded your license key and saved again. Correct domain shows up on your account and the license notice you were getting is gone.
