Just adding my vote after seeing DOZENS of closed tickets asking for support of partial payments and deposit tracking …
Last comment shows it planned for 12-18 months out. We are going to have to build this custom for our client before that happens (as in: before the end of April). If we do this, we’ll release it as a Plugin in the repository.
I’d much rather you guys take it on 🙂

Hi,
The underlying infrastructure in Event Espresso 3.2 is designed to handle partial payments but there needs to be a frontend interface for managing that PLUS a lot of additional issues addressed regarding how to manage the partial payments.

Probably the best way to get involved would be to request access to our GitHub repository. From there you can access the 3.2 development code and submit pull requests for review and testing.
