Deposit

We want to use Event Espresso for our summer camps. We typically only require a deposit at the time of registration and would like to be able to offer a deposit payment by credit card. I have seen a few posts on here that it was not an option directly. I was wondering if this has been updated or not.

Hi there,

We don’t currently have an option to pay a deposit/partial payment towards the selected ticket, although you can allow for deposits by creating a ‘Deposit’ ticket which the user selected, registers onto and pays the ticket price (which is set at the deposit price in the admin) and then you can move there registration over to the ‘Full Price’ ticket for them to pay later.

Would that work?
