Let’s say I have an event called 2012 CONFERENCE. Within the conference people can sign up for events at the conference that are either free or low cost (i.e. WIDGETS 101). How do I make registering for Widgets 101 dependent on being registered for 2012 CONFERENCE?

Thanks in advance.

Hello J.P.,

I think what you are looking for is something like the Volume Discount add-on. Right now it is only available as a limited beta for testing. If you would like to test it, please visit this thread for more information.

If this is not what you are looking for, please post back here and we will help you further.

Thanks but I’m not seeing how volume discounts can work in my situation. Allow me to explain better:

  1. I want to allow for anyone to register for a Conference.
  2. I don’t want just anyone to see classes offered at the Conference, just people who have bought a ticket.
  3. When someone purchases a ticket to the Conference I want them to be able to have a user id and password so that they can register for classes.

Right now, as I understand it, the Members plugin makes someone register for the site and then register again for tickets. However, once there they can see all classes without having paid!

Please point me in the right direction.
