I’ve read https://eventespresso.com/topic/delete-old-events-and-registrations-2/ but it appears you have to go one by one and delete the payments. So if you have multiple events with around 120 registrations, that could take a ridiculous amount of time. With GDPR in place, surely there must be a way to either auto delete registrations or manually bulk delete?

Hi there,
Currently, there’s no automatic/bulk option to delete registrations with payments assigned to their transactions within EE.
You need to edit each registration, remove any payments linked to the transaction for those registrations and then delete the registrations as shown in the other thread you linked to.
