Delegates Not Appearing Attendee Lists

Hi

I’ve recently moved my site from a shared server to a VPS.

Before the move I had no problems – this was before Christmas.

When the site was moved there were some teething problems with EE which were resolved by my hosting company. When people registered, they were not receiving booking confirmations and nor was I at the back end.

I had assumed that everything was ok, but we’ve just run a mailshot and got people booking onto events but only about 20% of those registering (including if I try to register them from the back end) are actually being saved into the attendee lists – despite confirmation emails being sent to both delgate and myself.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Hi Ged,

What things were changed when the site was moved? This was all working before the move correct?

Hi Josh

I’ve solved this one.

The delegates were being saved into the old database on the shared host and there was an issue with the DNS.

Good job I hadn’t taken the other site off the shared host!
